Residence Certificate

All nationals of the European Economic Area can apply for a UK registration Certificate.

The Certificate is your EEA residence permit confirming your right to live in UK under European Community Law.

To apply for a UK Registration Certificate nationals from the following countries need to have registered under the Home Office’s Worker Registration Scheme first!

Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic

All applicants, regardless of their nationality should be able to prove that they have been in legal employment for the 12 months prior to their application;

To register you need to submit an application to the home office together with your passport and other documents confirming your legal employment in UK for the last 12 months;
